Tourism is growing quickly in Nicaragua, so new attractions pop up all the time. The government of Nicaragua is genuinely committed to preserving the local character and tradition, while facilitating tourism.
You have an opportunity to discover this tropical paradise before the rest of the world catches on. Visit Empalme A Las Playas, a Resort Paradise in Nicaragua.
Stay as long as you wish, and know that we require a minimum two night stay. Our guests invariably tell us they wish they had planned a longer stay. |

A few travel tips:
- While Nicaragua is a safe country, it is also a poor country. Reasonable safety precautions should be observed while traveling to local tourist attractions. Most guests travel from area to area by bus, shuttle van, or taxi.
- There are lots of things to do that require walking, so bring or buy a comfortable pair of closed toe shoes.
- Bring beach towels or pick them up inexpensively at local shops as resort towels are for "in room" use only.
- You’ll be near the equator, so you'll need sunscreen and a hat if you sunburn easily.
- Sleeping quarters are equipped with nets, but you may need insect repellent as well.
- Check the currency exchange rates. Currently the Cordoba is trading at 20-to-1 against the U.S. Dollar.
